In the 11th minute of the match Cristo Sandaili shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteban Fernanco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Ernesto Atarratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Abel Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dionisio Gaizko came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Lxs Pibxs De Liberman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Gaizko couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Gaizko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Fernanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. With his leg Esteban Fernanco managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's Luis Iraitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abel Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Gartzi in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Iraitz got free with Esteban Fernanco in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasio Neron's late challenge caught a LASPELOTAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Neron helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lxs Pibxs De Liberman getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Anastasio Neron hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, LASPELOTAS's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Gaizko came free, but Esteban Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Gaizko made a kick off. Dionisio Gaizko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Fernanco having to interfere. Orlando Ponc's late challenge caught a Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 66th minute Jose Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Orlando Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Lxs Pibxs De Liberman got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Atarratze. Nereo Gartzi scored 0-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Lohitzun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban Fernanco came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's Luis Iraitz. But to his dismay, Luis Iraitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luis Iraitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Luis Iraitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Esteban Fernanco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Fernanco having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Luis Iraitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Iraitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Fernanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteban Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Iraitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lxs Pibxs De Liberman were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
