The supporters of Putrachoique FC booed when Los Fumones Esotericos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Gonzalo Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putrachoique FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Montxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Los Fumones Esotericos got a freekick which was hit by Severo Santana. Placido Cordero scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzalo Veto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Montxo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Javier Lluciano, 1-1. With his leg Javier Lluciano managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Putrachoique FC's Cristian Nevada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Daniel Belo came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Putrachoique FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Belo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Belo got free with Javier Lluciano in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Javier Lluciano made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Daniel Belo sent off a good shot on target. If Daniel Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Lluciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Montxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Montxo to make the kick off. Placido Cordero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Gonzalo Veto made a huge save. After some careless play in the Putrachoique FC defense, Placido Cordero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Veto. The Putrachoique FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Veto should have stopped the shot. In the 64thth minute of the game Gonzalo Montxo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Fumones Esotericos's Javier Lluciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonzalo Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Cordero in the 67th minute of play. When Putrachoique FC's Daniel Belo in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 83 minutes, Americo Gagriel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putrachoique FC and the Los Fumones Esotericos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Putrachoique FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Gagriel. Severo Santanas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Gonzalo Veto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
