Spectators: 7246 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Placido Cordero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Chanchuni's Angelino Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Ibon in the 3rd minute of play. Javier Lluciano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Viator's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Orlando Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Lluciano having to interfere. Angelino Distiratsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Ibon's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 22 minutes in the game, Orlando Viator fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Javier Lluciano having to interfere. Donato Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Donato Ibon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Cordero in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Distiratsu saved Chanchuni from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Viator stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Ibon got free with Angelino Distiratsu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Chanchuni's Angelino Distiratsu got control of the ball when Donato Ibon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Placido Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Distiratsu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Cordero in the 57th minute of play forced Chanchuni's goalkeeper Angelino Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Angelino Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Cordero in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Chanchuni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Dubardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Donato Ibon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Distiratsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Angelino Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Placido Cordero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelino Distiratsu. That made the score 1-2 in the 79 minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Iliana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Javier Lluciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chanchuni's goalkeeper Angelino Distiratsu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Donato Ibon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Fumones Esotericos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Ibon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Leopoldo Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Chanchuni's Carolo Barrionuevo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Ibon got free with Angelino Distiratsu in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Placido Cordero notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Chanchuni's Angelino Distiratsu. Angelino Distiratsu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Los Fumones Esotericos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Fumones Esotericos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
