In the 2nd minute, Ricardo Lauro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patagones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ricardo Lauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Ralondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Lauro ran back to his position shaking his head. Vinicio Toro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Blai, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Americo Blai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vinicio Toro, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Sesuldo got free with Vinicio Toro in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saul Montel's late challenge caught a Ibáñez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Montel helped the player get up and apologised. Victorino Sesuldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorino Sesuldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Toro having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Patagones's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Blai came free, but Vinicio Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patagones's Ricardo Lauro got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Patagones's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Blai came free, but Vinicio Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Blai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Toro came out and tried to block the shot, but Americo Blai slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Ricardo Lauro made the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Ralondo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ricardo Lauro sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Patagones defense, Americo Blai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Toro. The Patagones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Toro should have stopped the shot. When Victorino Sesuldo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ibáñez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Sesuldo couldn't finish the play. After 66 minutes of play, Ibáñez's Victorino Sesuldo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinicio Toro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ricardo Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Celestino Maraman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibáñez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patagones the free kick. The supporters of Patagones booed when Ibáñez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Maraman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Patagones defense, Delmar Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Toro. The Patagones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Toro should have stopped the shot. After 79 played minutes Patagones got a freekick which was hit by Saul Montel. Julian Gau struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Vinicio Toro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibáñez. Victorino Sesuldo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Toro. Vinicio Toro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Vinicio Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Sesuldo in the 85th minute of play. Elpidio Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Patagones players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ibáñez.
