Delmar Pere took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Estefan. Iruya AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joel Transito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Estefan having to interfere. Joel Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Laurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Frechoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Iruya AFC's zone, Cayetano Justin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Estefan came out of the goal and Cayetano Justin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaudencio Laurin scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Frechoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Rincón de los sauces F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Bladi. A collision led to Rincón de los sauces F.C getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eriberto Pedroso hit a great ball. If Juan Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Laurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Justin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Faustino Frechoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alfredo Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Laurin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Juan Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iruya AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Sesuldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Laurin came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Faustino Frechoso could save by the left post. Rincón de los sauces F.C's Faustino Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Santikurtz in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rincón de los sauces F.C's Gavino Bladi got a free kick in the 74th minute. Gaudencio Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Faustino Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Frechoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Sesuldo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 77 minute of play. Iruya AFC's Alfredo Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Transito in the 82nd minute of play. Gaudencio Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Iruya AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
