The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Eugenio Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Indar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Ortle, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Blas Ortle came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Enredados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Ortle couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Santxol might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Lonzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulgencio Santxol ran back to his position shaking his head. Blas Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Jonathan Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
