Ibáñez's Alvaro Ralondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ibáñez from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Generoso Urdaspal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Sesuldo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ibáñez's zone, Emilio Ilazki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Ralondo came out of the goal and Emilio Ilazki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Nerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Caldera F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibáñez the free kick. Baldomiro Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Victorino Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Bertol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Sesuldo in the 64th minute. La Caldera F.C's Moises Bertol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save La Caldera F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Emilio Ilazki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Ralondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
