Dalmacio Olo's late challenge caught a Avantgarde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Olo helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Solca AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avantgarde:s goal. When Americo Luken came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Solca AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Luken couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Americo Luken put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alfonso Gonzales. Alfonso Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Luken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Blas Kaiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingos Frantzes kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Solca AFC's Americo Luken got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Americo Luken came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Solca AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Luken couldn't finish the play. Aureliano Caitano came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Avantgarde's Blas Kaiet. But to his dismay, Blas Kaiet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Blas Kaiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Americo Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Luken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Gonzales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Avantgarde's zone, Americo Luken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Gonzales came out of the goal and Americo Luken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Ganix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Federico Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Gonzales having to interfere. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avantgarde's goalkeeper Alfonso Gonzales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the last second Alfonso Gonzales throw himself and got hold of the ball when Americo Luken in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Alfonso Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Luken in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Avantgarde's goalkeeper Alfonso Gonzales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Luken. Blas Kaiet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Aureliano Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Madaleno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Gonzales having to make a save. Americo Luken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alfonso Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Luken got free with Alfonso Gonzales in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th match minute, Avantgarde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Mikelats to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Americo Luken sped through Avantgarde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfonso Gonzales. Avantgarde's Alfonso Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Luken in the 85th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Solca AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Damario. Aureliano Caitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Federico Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Gonzales having to interfere.
