The audience was convinced that Robustiano Benino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Azubeli was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Gualterio Azubeli came out of the goal and Robustiano Benino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to JUVENILES getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ramon Goren hit a great ball. Francisco Gumaro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, JUVENILES's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Urbez came free, but Gualterio Azubeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Cornurbano FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Tomi. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Robustiano Benino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JUVENILES's Gualterio Azubeli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cornurbano FC's zone, Romulo Barea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Innocenzio came out of the goal and Romulo Barea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Romulo Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. JUVENILES's Gualterio Azubeli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save JUVENILES from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Benino in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Azubeli saved JUVENILES from getting behind. Gualterio Azubeli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Benino's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, JUVENILES's Francisco Gumaro got a free kick in the 81st minute. Robustiano Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Azubeli having to interfere. Gualterio Azubeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Benino in the 83rd minute.
