The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Emeterio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oscar Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Rudolfo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chelco's zone, Romulo Harkaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Rudolfo came out of the goal and Romulo Harkaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Sayveon in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Firme saved Santa Clara from getting behind. Bernardo Bladi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cayetano Firme having to make a save. Elpidio Baudelio's late challenge caught a Santa Clara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elpidio Baudelio helped the player get up and apologised. Victorio Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Firme having to interfere. Romulo Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Rudolfo having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Chelco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Noe to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
