In the 10th minute, Avantgarde's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romulo Barea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Romulo Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Gonzales having to interfere. Leonides Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alfonso Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonides Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Blas Kaiet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Gonzales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Barea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Ganix in the 32nd minute of play forced JUVENILES's goalkeeper Gualterio Azubeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, JUVENILES's Eriberto Piarres got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, JUVENILES's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Kaiet came free, but Gualterio Azubeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Romulo Barea came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the JUVENILES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Barea couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Gonzales made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Leonides Chepe sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

JUVENILES's Gualterio Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Ganix in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Avantgarde's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Barea came free, but Alfonso Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Luis Ganix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JUVENILES's Gualterio Azubeli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes, Francisco Gumaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JUVENILES and the Avantgarde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, JUVENILES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Barea struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Alfonso Gonzales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUVENILES. After a defensive mix-up in Avantgarde's zone, Romulo Barea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Gonzales came out of the goal and Romulo Barea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Piarres hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Luis Ganix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Azubeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Kaiet in the 69th minute. Flavio Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Luis Ganix came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Avantgarde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Ganix couldn't finish the play. Flavio Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, JUVENILES's Flavio Ramos got a free kick in the 85th minute. Gualterio Azubeli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
