Celedonio Brais kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Chimborazo AFC's Enrique Segio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tadeo Gaueko but with some difficulty. Tadeo Gaueko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Claude in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes LI0NS B4RBARIANS got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Brais. 13 minutes into the match, Chimborazo AFC's Hipolito Oliviero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeo Gaueko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carolo Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LI0NS B4RBARIANS's zone, Salvador Senio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Gaueko came out of the goal and Salvador Senio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chimborazo AFC booed when LI0NS B4RBARIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Claudes short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Tadeo Gaueko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 26 minutes, Anastasio Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chimborazo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Claude was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Modestio scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Bernat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Chimborazo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Senio. 34 minutes into the match, LI0NS B4RBARIANS's Marcos Modestio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Bernat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 36th minute, but Tadeo Gaueko got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving LI0NS B4RBARIANS hanging dry this time. Chimborazo AFC's Hipolito Oliviero got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salvador Senio hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Hipolito Oliviero made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hipolito Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anastasio Claude came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Chimborazo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Claude couldn't finish the play. If Hipolito Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Claude received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tadeo Gaueko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Oliviero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Gaueko having to make a save. If Anastasio Claude had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Gaueko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Senio in the 75th minute of play forced LI0NS B4RBARIANS's goalkeeper Tadeo Gaueko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joel Marz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LI0NS B4RBARIANS's protests and gave Joel Marz a yellow card for diving instead. Tadeo Gaueko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Gaueko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Oliviero, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, LI0NS B4RBARIANS's Carolo Feliu got a free kick in the 81st minute. Tadeo Gaueko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Oliviero in the 89th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the LI0NS B4RBARIANS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chimborazo AFC.
