Spectators: 7141 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 5) Dito Marques started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Chimborazo AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Zeledon Havier hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, Watt AFC's Paulo Xabel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amador Bernat was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14thth minute of the game Claudio Ayala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chimborazo AFC's Amador Bernat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dito Marques sped through Chimborazo AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amador Bernat. 23 minutes into the match, Watt AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Oliviero came free, but Bernabe Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dito Marques in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Bernat saved Chimborazo AFC from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Dito Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watt AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Chimborazo AFC's Amador Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Ayala in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Claudio Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watt AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Ayala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dito Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Chimborazo AFC defense, Blas Marino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Bernat. The Chimborazo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Bernat should have stopped the shot. If Claudio Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Watt AFC's Claudio Ayala in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chimborazo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Claudio Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Bernat having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Chimborazo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Marino came free, but Amador Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Guillermo Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Amador Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dito Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Bernat having to interfere. Amador Bernat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Xabel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 59 minute of play. If Dito Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Havier took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernabe Laurentzi. Bernabe Laurentzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 67 minutes, Dito Marques made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Chimborazo AFC's Amador Bernat tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amador Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Dito Marques who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Amador Bernat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zeledon Havier kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Chimborazo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Claude to maneuver through the defense. After 82nd play minutes Dito Marques shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Amador Bernat and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 88th minute, Dito Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Segio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Dito Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Watt AFC's Claudio Ayala in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chimborazo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Watt AFC played a much better game than Chimborazo AFC and deserved their victory. The Chimborazo AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
