Rene Nafarroa kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Avantgarde getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luis Ganix hit a great ball. Aureliano Innocenzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Ganix's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Robustiano Benino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alfonso Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Robustiano Benino came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cornurbano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Benino couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Benino in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Gonzales saved Avantgarde from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Everardo Ramone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Alfonso Gonzales managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Cornurbano FC's Robustiano Benino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

A collision led to Cornurbano FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Everardo Ramone hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Luis Ganix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Blas Jerrald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cornurbano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avantgarde the free kick. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cornurbano FC! The goalkeeper, Aureliano Innocenzio, was totally fooled by Avantgarde's Niceto Gonchan, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 59 minutes into the match, Avantgarde's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Muno came free, but Alfonso Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Blas Kaiet came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Avantgarde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Kaiet couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Avantgarde's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Benino came free, but Alfonso Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 86 minutes, Domingos Frantzes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avantgarde and the Cornurbano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Avantgarde getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Domingos Frantzes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robustiano Benino in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Gonzales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Everardo Ramone notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Avantgarde's Alfonso Gonzales. Alfonso Gonzales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Robustiano Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cornurbano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Benino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Gonzales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cornurbano FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
