After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Erasmo Ospetsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 6th minute, Osvaldo Stanislao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Ospetsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualterio Azubeli having to make a save. When Venancio Florinio fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Euskadi's protests and gave Venancio Florinio a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, JUVENILES's Alfonso Canor got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leon Frances. Venancio Florinio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Romulo Barea let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 25th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Erasmo Ospetsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Azubeli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Leonides Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Vermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Romulo Barea struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Leon Frances didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUVENILES. Leonides Chepe struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Flavio Ramos's late challenge caught a Euskadi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. JUVENILES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Chepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romulo Barea was the one to do the kick off. Euskadi's Osvaldo Stanislao got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Euskadi got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Oton. 68 minutes into the game, Erasmo Ospetsu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gualterio Azubeli. Erasmo Ospetsu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Leonides Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Leon Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Frances showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Barea, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Anacleto Oton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Chepe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Frances read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind JUVENILES's goalkeeper Gualterio Azubeli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Euskadi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for JUVENILES.
