Gervasio Maidana ran back to his position shaking his head. Gervasio Maidana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Erauso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Maidana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Erauso was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Maidana to strike the kick off in the second half. After 91st play minutes Gervasio Maidana shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Emanuel Erauso and just under the crossbar into goal. 98 minutes into the match, Vagos Unidos FC's Romulo Abadia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Erauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romulo Abadia came free with the goalkeeper in the 100th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Erauso could save by the left post. Vagos Unidos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
