Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Godofredo Bernard got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Teodosio Abeitia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Luzea's late challenge caught a Ferreyra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Luzea helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Montrelle came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferreyra's Venancio Guzman. But to his dismay, Venancio Guzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Teodosio Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Montrelle having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Mercedes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Poz came free, but Victor Montrelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Frisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Victor Montrelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Ovidio Poz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Felix Ermano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Camerino, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Venancio Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Montrelle having to interfere. A collision led to Mercedes AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Severo Abadia hit a great ball. Ovidio Poz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Victor Montrelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Mercedes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Abeitia came free, but Victor Montrelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Ferreyra's Victor Montrelle threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ovidio Poz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Mercedes AFC's Victor Montrelle got control of the ball when Primitivo Frisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mercedes AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Ignacio Montrell placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 46th minute Teodosio Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Abeitia to make the kick off. Danilo Luzea kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ovidio Poz took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Montrelle. Victor Montrelle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Venancio Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ovidio Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferreyra's Ovidio Poz got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Primitivo Frisco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Montrelle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Abeitia's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Primitivo Frisco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Montrelle was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After having played for 78 minutes, Ovidio Poz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferreyra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Poz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Ignacio Montrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Montrelle was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Venancio Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Montrelle having to interfere. Teodosio Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Montrelle having to interfere. Primitivo Frisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute Godofredo Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Ferreyra players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
