Ramon Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Louis having to interfere. The Giga fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Louis should have stopped the shot. When Alto Wach came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Naranjito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alto Wach couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Ernesto Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Telo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Remigio Louis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjito. Ernesto Iratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Louis having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Elizardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ernesto Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Giga fc got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Guillerme. After 71 minutes, Ernesto Iratze made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Giga fc's Remigio Louis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th match minute, Giga fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Iztal to maneuver through the defense. Naranjito's Claudio Cefero was substituted for Edelmiro Gelacio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Iratze in the 88th minute of play forced Giga fc's goalkeeper Remigio Louis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giga fc's goalkeeper Remigio Louis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Iratze in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Louis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alto Wach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Remigio Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Naranjito had played much better football throughout.
