The supporters of Vagos Unidos FC booed when Oliva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oliva FC's zone, Juan Calixto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Quinito came out of the goal and Juan Calixto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Calixto made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Juan Calixto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Oliva FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Florencio Oton hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Juan Calixto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Quinito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Juan Calixto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oliva FC's Desiderio Quinito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Juan Calixto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Calixto in the 73rd minute of play forced Oliva FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Quinito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Oliva FC defense, Honorio Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Quinito. The Oliva FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Quinito should have stopped the shot. When Vagos Unidos FC's Juan Calixto in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Quinito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Desiderio Quinito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Calixto's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Eloy Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Eli in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vagos Unidos FC's zone, Bartolo Baudelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Presebal came out of the goal and Bartolo Baudelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vagos Unidos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
