Vladimiro Che blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Roano having to make a save. Gregorio Baraquiel's late challenge caught a Tanti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Baraquiel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires United's Gregorio Baraquiel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Che in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Emanuel Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Feo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Hugo Hegoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Erauso was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Buenos Aires United's Casimiro Feo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Tanti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Hegoi came free, but Emanuel Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Hegoi to make the kick off. Casimiro Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Erauso having to interfere. Tanti FC's Emanuel Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Hegoi in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tanti FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Erauso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Hugo Hegoi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tanti FC's Emanuel Erauso. Emanuel Erauso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emanuel Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Theobald in the 72nd minute of play. Vladimiro Che sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Hipolito Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Ubelteso struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Juan Roano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tanti FC. Emanuel Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Hegoi in the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tanti FC's zone, Casimiro Feo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Erauso came out of the goal and Casimiro Feo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Kaiet kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Vladimiro Che hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Casimiro Feo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Roano having to interfere. The supporters of Tanti FC booed when Buenos Aires United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Bikendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanti FC's Emanuel Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Feo in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tanti FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Buenos Aires United.
