Spectators: 6687 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 0) Venancio Astrada started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Conrado Millan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Erbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Juan Pablo Yanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janta's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Pablo Yanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Suarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejo Mannie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Conrado Millan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aras Erbay, 1-0. In the 25th minute, Juan Pablo Yanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Suarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 28th minute, Juan Pablo Yanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desiderio Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Telo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Desiderio Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Juan Pablo Yanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Suarez having to interfere. When Alejo Mannie came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Janta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Mannie couldn't finish the play. Alejo Mannie hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Maimará defense, Juan Pablo Yanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Suarez. The Maimará fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Suarez should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Maimará booed when Janta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Juan Pablo Yanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Pablo Yanovs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Desiderio Suarez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Romeo Tanio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Pablo Yanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Desiderio Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Mannie hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Maimará's Florentino Lalla in action when he in the 62nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Astrada in the 64th minute of play forced Janta's goalkeeper Aras Erbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes in the game, Alejo Mannie fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Desiderio Suarez having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Maimará's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Gaona came free, but Desiderio Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Suarez made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Patricio Gaona sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute, Alejo Mannie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Janta made a substitution. Ciro Harkaitz replaced Juan Pablo Yanov. After a rather tough play, Janta's Alejo Mannie got a free kick in the 81st minute. Patricio Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Suarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Maimará's Desiderio Suarez got control of the ball when Ciro Harkaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ciro Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
