Placido Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Maimará getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Angelo Rivero hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Guilabertus was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Adolfo Guilabertus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maimará's Desiderio Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venancio Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Lixandro having to interfere. If Constantino Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maimará's Venancio Astrada got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Orlo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Venancio Astrada might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Lixandro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
