Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Docta's Placido Fiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Pablo Yanov in the 16th minute of play. Aldo Telo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Fiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Telo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Patricio Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Cecilio Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Erbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alejo Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Patricio Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Placido Fiz. La Docta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Janta getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Clemente Bertol hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, La Docta's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Gaona came free, but Placido Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aldo Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Gaona to make the kick off. If Patricio Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Placido Fiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Mannie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Fiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Alejo Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janta's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Mannie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Fiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Patricio Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Pablo Yanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Placido Fiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Alejo Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Placido Fiz made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Patricio Gaona sent off a good shot on target. Janta made a substitution. Ciro Harkaitz replaced Juan Pablo Yanov. Ciro Harkaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aras Erbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Gaona got free with Placido Fiz in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The La Docta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Janta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
