After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Donato Txartiko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bohemia's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Txartiko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Viviano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Bazkoare in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Viviano saved Peña AFC from getting behind. Honorato Viviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Bazkoare, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Salomon got free with Angel Lixandro in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albano Maore's late challenge caught a Bohemia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Peña AFC's Guaberto Eudoxio got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Jurdan to make the kick off. Peña AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Jurdan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Lixandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Salomon in the 66th minute of the match. Maximino Salomon struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Angel Lixandro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peña AFC. In the 70th minute, Maximino Salomon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peña AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
