After a defensive mix-up in Peña AFC's zone, Lisandro Jago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Viviano came out of the goal and Lisandro Jago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Rojos F C's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Jurdan came free, but Augusto Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rojos F C's Matias Saturnin got a free kick in the 7th minute. Honorato Viviano was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Lisandro Jago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lisandro Jago really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 12 played minutes Peña AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Gora. After 15 minutes, Matias Saturnin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rojos F C and the Peña AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ambrosio Tartalo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Augusto Dimo. Rojos F C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 17 played minutes, Peña AFC's Rolando Salomone shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augusto Dimo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peña AFC reached it. After having played for 19 minutes, Rene Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peña AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Jurdan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match Rolando Salomone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Dimo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Rene Jurdan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Augusto Dimo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Rojos F C fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Rojos F C's Orlando Asier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 34 minutes into the match, Peña AFC's Maximino Salomon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Dimo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Augusto Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Salomon in the 36th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Orlando Asier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Honorato Viviano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Jago to make the kick off. In the 64th match minute, Peña AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Gora to maneuver through the defense. Rojos F C's Augusto Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Jurdan in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Albano Maore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peña AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rojos F C the free kick. A collision led to Peña AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Albano Maore hit a great ball. Rojos F C's Amancio Rocio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Peña AFC. After 72 minutes of play, Rojos F C's Orlando Asier made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorato Viviano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorato Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Rene Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peña AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Jurdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Dimo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Jago in the 84th minute of play forced Peña AFC's goalkeeper Honorato Viviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Dimo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rene Jurdan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 91 minute of play. The supporters of Rojos F C booed when Peña AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peña AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rojos F C.
