The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atletico de Rafaela's Amador Jax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico de Rafaela from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico de Rafaela's zone, Ignacio Herensuge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Jax came out of the goal and Ignacio Herensuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Nazario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Nazario in the 13th minute of the match. Honorato Nazario in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amador Jax, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Honorato Nazario did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Amador Jax 18 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Jacobo Toribio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico de Rafaela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millo Madrid the free kick. Jacobo Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Millo Madrid getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Evaristo Iruinea hit a great ball. If Leonel Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Vergaray hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Honorato Nazario kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Atletico de Rafaela's keeper Amador Jax was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Erasmo Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atletico de Rafaela's Amador Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Nazario in the 45th minute of play. Godfredo Manuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godfredo Manuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Godfredo Manuelo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Bazil to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Evaristo Iruinea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millo Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Iruinea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Atletico de Rafaela's Jacobo Toribio got a free kick in the 65th minute. Arnulfo Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Nazario in the 73rd minute of play forced Atletico de Rafaela's goalkeeper Amador Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Jax stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Nazario's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Amador Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Nazario in the 81st minute of play. If Honorato Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Nazario in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Jax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amador Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Ignacio Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millo Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Herensuge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amador Jax stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Nazario's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Millo Madrid had played much better football throughout.
