Anacleto Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Jax having to interfere. Salvador Stanislao came out and tried to block the shot, but Santo Bazil slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. Anacleto Blasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Paris Saint-Germain's Evaristo Caetano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Jax narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Caetano was the one to do the kick off. Evaristo Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Amador Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anacleto Blasi took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amador Jax. Amador Jax dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Evaristo Caetano put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Amador Jax. Anacleto Blasi's late challenge caught a Atletico de Rafaela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Blasi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Anacleto Blasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Paris Saint-Germain's Amador Jax threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evaristo Caetano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Lizardi's late challenge caught a Atletico de Rafaela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Lizardi helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Paris Saint-Germain got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Lizardi. Alfonso Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Paris Saint-Germain played a much better game than Atletico de Rafaela and deserved their victory. The Atletico de Rafaela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
