MAGO DE OZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Iraitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Burzaco futbol club's zone, Tomás Mark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Senin came out of the goal and Tomás Mark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Mark in the 26th minute of play. Burzaco futbol club's Eduardo Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Mark in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of MAGO DE OZ booed when Burzaco futbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Espiridion didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Burzaco futbol club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Veto to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Burzaco futbol club's Celedonio Javiar got a free kick in the 39th minute. After the first half MAGO DE OZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Arlo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tomás Mark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute Amado Arlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Urbes during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MAGO DE OZ's Augusto Urbes got a free kick in the 55th minute. Amadeo Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute.
