Spectators: 7077 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victorino Geofredo started the match with the kick off. Isaac Eusko hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Julian Frichoso in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oscar Frasquito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Segundo Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Felipo in the 15th minute of the match. Arnoldo Jatsu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Higinio Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugalete AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Felipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Higinio Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugalete AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Felipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Llorenc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Higinio Felipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Jatsu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Jatsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Segundo Llorenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Felipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to Los Cansados getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Arnoldo Jatsu hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Felipo in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Segundo Llorenc saved Los Cansados from getting behind. Segundo Llorenc came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugalete AFC's Higinio Felipo. But to his dismay, Higinio Felipo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 42nd match minute, Los Cansados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Handi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Felipo in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Cansados's goalkeeper Segundo Llorenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Portugalete AFC booed when Los Cansados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Guipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 53 played minutes Los Cansados got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Eusko. In the 58th minute, Victorino Geofredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Frichoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Frasquito having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Victorino Geofredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Frasquito was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Portugalete AFC's Oscar Frasquito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Geofredo in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Julian Frichoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Anier Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Mikolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Segundo Llorenc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Geofredo scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Frasquito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Felipo in the 86th minute of play forced Los Cansados's goalkeeper Segundo Llorenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Portugalete AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Madaleno. Julian Frichoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Frasquito having to interfere. After 94 minutes, Erasmo Admon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugalete AFC and the Los Cansados players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erasmo Admon kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
