In the 11th minute, Isaac Bortzaioriz made a precise shot to the right of Omar Irrintzi. Animán AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Omar Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Gaueko in the 20th minute of play. Sacala Que Quema FC's Isaac Bortzaioriz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Guerau to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Bortzaioriz got free with Omar Irrintzi in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Clodoveo Guerau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Sacala Que Quema FC's Romulo Domingues tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Animán AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Victorio Ticho hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Manuel Gaueko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sacala Que Quema FC's zone, Candido Luke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Bartuelo came out of the goal and Candido Luke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sacala Que Quema FC booed when Animán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Maxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Animán AFC defense, Isaac Bortzaioriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Irrintzi. The Animán AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Irrintzi should have stopped the shot. The referee ignored Sacala Que Quema FC's protests and gave Celestino Maureo a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Sacala Que Quema FC got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Maureo. 92 minutes into the game, one of Animán AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Omar Irrintzi was a little too slow when Romulo Domingues got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-4. Sacala Que Quema FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
