The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. alumni azuleño's Eusebio Aritza got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Torralba struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Sebastian Eliazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barovia. After 35 played minutes alumni azuleño got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Aritza. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinicio Theobald in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Eliazar saved alumni azuleño from getting behind. After a rather tough play, alumni azuleño's Nereo Shepherd got a free kick in the 39th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Leopoldo Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Sebastian Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, alumni azuleño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Soter to maneuver through the defense. Barovia's Rodrigo Linacre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Barovia from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Barovia's Rodrigo Linacre got control of the ball when Fernan Eriz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jonathan Torralba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Eliazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of alumni azuleño booed when Barovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Paskal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
