Spectators: 7127 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 10) Jairo Libertad's late challenge caught a Valencia C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Libertad helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Hola got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Libertad. After 3 minutes of play, Valencia C.F.'s Celso Osmundo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Calixto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jairo Libertad was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 17 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Hola's Jairo Libertad got a free kick in the 18th minute. Evaristo Enaut took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Delmiro Calixto. Hola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Delmiro Calixto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Osmundo in the 22nd minute of play. Benjamin Quentin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Gualterio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Delmiro Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Benitez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Hever in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Hola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Valencia C.F.'s Evaristo Enaut tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hola's Delmiro Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Gitano in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Valencia C.F. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Hever stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Calvet during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Calvet to maneuver through the defense. Carolo Oto charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Oto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hola fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Delmiro Calixto went to the wrong direction when Evaristo Enaut was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Epifanio Sugar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmiro Calixto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Celso Osmundo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Delmiro Calixto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vinicio Gitano hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Hola's Delmiro Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Sugar in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hola's Gualterio Lekubegi got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Epifanio Sugar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Valencia C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Sugar couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Calvet got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Calvet to maneuver through the defense. Iker Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Valencia C.F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valencia C.F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
