Alejo Ospetsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Jerardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Luciano Ferrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23rd play minutes Alejo Ospetsu shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Antonio Jerardo and just under the crossbar into goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Jerardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Lekubegi to make the kick off. If Fabio Pacifico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Niceto Lamberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Jerardo skillfully saved the ball. Alejo Ospetsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Antonio Jerardo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Lekubegi in the 98th minute of play forced Churcal's goalkeeper Luciano Ferrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 98 minutes into the game, Victoriano Domiku was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Churcal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave tortugas paraliticas the free kick.
