Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Walme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado George read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Jorge Sansone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliberto Bautista during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yalapa booed when Club Del Bono was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Dionisio Adrio made a precise shot to the right of Wilfredo Jaume. Club Del Bono's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Conrado George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Walme in the 36th minute of the match. Jorge Sansone came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Conrado George could save by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Walme was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Yalapa's Justino Iruinea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dionisio Adrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Wilfredo Jaume made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Eugenio Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Del Bono's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Walme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado George breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Wilfredo Jaume was a little too slow when Dionisio Adrio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-2. 78 minutes into the game, Faustino Gamus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yalapa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Del Bono the free kick. After 78 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Gamus. With a little luck, Club Del Bono's Wilfredo Jaume got control of the ball when Faustino Gamus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faustino Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Gamus took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilfredo Jaume. Wilfredo Jaume dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.
