Rickard Lindström came out of the goal and Faustino Gamus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 5 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Mefodiy Shershun. Faustino Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rickard Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Presebal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Conrado George was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Guaberto Boni. In the 24th minute, Inocencio Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dionisio Adrio came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Yalapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Adrio couldn't finish the play. After 55 minutes, Justino Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yalapa and the Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Talleres a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mefodiy Shershun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yalapa's Conrado George. 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Presebal came free, but Conrado George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Eufrasio in the 62nd minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Conrado George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Presebal in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Talleres booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Heli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mefodiy Shershun, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Eduardo Presebal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yalapa's Conrado George was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduardo Presebal kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Gilberto Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Conrado George didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Presebal went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.
