Rickard Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Raphael, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Gilberto Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Eufrasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gilberto Eufrasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Humberto Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute of the match Saturnino Asier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Rio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Fulgencio Raphael made a precise shot to the right of Rickard Lindström. Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Talleres's Saturnino Abad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Rio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victoriano Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rickard Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Ataliva's goalkeeper Victoriano Rio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Presebal. 38 minutes into the match, Ataliva's Humberto Xacintu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Lindström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ataliva were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Talleres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulino Asteri took the corner. Saturnino Asier thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rickard Lindström, a very annoying self made goal in the 40th minute which led to 0-2. Saturnino Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Rio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Xacintu in the 48th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Rickard Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Eufrasio to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ataliva's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Eufrasio came free, but Victoriano Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Abad. In the 55th minute of the match Paulino Asteri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickard Lindström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Eufrasio in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Rio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ataliva's Victoriano Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Eufrasio in the 69th minute of play. Victoriano Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Presebal in the 70th minute of the match. Victoriano Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Eufrasio in the 71st minute of play. Talleres were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Ataliva's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mefodiy Shershun took the corner. Uriel Fiz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Ataliva getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ambrosio Porfiro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Gilberto Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Eufrasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Rio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Presebal struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Victoriano Rio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. The Talleres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ataliva's performance. The match ended with a win for Ataliva.
