Eduardo Machado scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inocencio Segio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anier Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vinicio Telesforo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chacarita Juniors reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Marino in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocencio Segio saved Oratorio FC from getting behind. In the 64th minute Godfredo Fiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Vinicio Telesforo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciriaco Santiago hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Anier Perez took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Vinicio Telesforo to make any attempt to save it. If Eduardo Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Igor Marino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Segio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Oratorio FC's Inocencio Segio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Santiago in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Oratorio FC booed when Chacarita Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Anier Perez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Anier Perez came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Oratorio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Perez couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Chacarita Juniors were the better team. Chacarita Juniors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
