If Santos Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Celestino Quinteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tapebicuá fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! After 45 played minutes Tapebicuá got a freekick which was hit by Elias Pirro.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustacio Frederik to strike the kick off in the second half. After 62 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Teo Bertin. 63 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Frederik came free, but Godofredo Giro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Tapebicuá's Elias Pirro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santos Etxekopar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Narciso Eudoxio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Modesto Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapebicuá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Perutxo came free, but Godofredo Giro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Rutenio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, one of Tapebicuá:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tapebicuá. In the 83rd minute of the game, Club Atletico River Plate got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Tapebicuá's zone, Celestino Quinteros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Eudoxio came out of the goal and Celestino Quinteros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Etxekopar in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Eudoxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celestino Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atletico River Plate's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
