Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquin Indar started the match with the kick off. If Ariel Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bandera's Arnaldo Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Indar in the 9th minute of play. Gerardo Gora hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ariel Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute Ariel Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Orain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Andres Sanchez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Orain was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 29 minutes into the game, Bandera's Ariel Cordairo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaston Orain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gaston Orain came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bandera's Ariel Cordairo. But to his dismay, Ariel Cordairo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Hipolito Rafel hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Lidon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Otsando in the 36th minute. With an all-out effort, La Banda Del Gordini's Arnaldo Lidon threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joaquin Indar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jacobo Otsando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Bandera were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Cordairo made a kick off. If Jacobo Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Orain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Cordairo in the 65th minute of play. Arnaldo Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Otsando, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Aristides Oro lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Banda Del Gordini! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Cordairo in the 73rd minute of play forced La Banda Del Gordini's goalkeeper Gaston Orain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Cordairo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Orain having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Jacobo Otsando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Banda Del Gordini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Sanchez got free with Gaston Orain in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ariel Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, La Banda Del Gordini's Gaston Orain got control of the ball when Andres Sanchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bandera played a much better game than La Banda Del Gordini and deserved their victory. The La Banda Del Gordini players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
