Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 12) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eustacio Frederik kicked off to start the match. Eduardo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Narciso Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 minutes, Elias Pirro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapebicuá and the Chacarita Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tapebicuá getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Elias Pirro hit a great ball. Chacarita Juniors's Ermegildo Uzuri got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Fagondo during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Chacarita Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Fagondo. After 20 played minutes Tapebicuá got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Crescencio. The supporters of Tapebicuá booed when Chacarita Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Burni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Eustacio Frederik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Juniors's zone, Elias Pirro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Telesforo came out of the goal and Elias Pirro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chacarita Juniors's Eduardo Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leo Tello fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita Juniors's protests and gave Leo Tello a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Juniors's Leo Tello got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 69 played minutes Chacarita Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Burni. After having played for 71 minutes, Eustacio Frederik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapebicuá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Frederik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Eudoxio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermegildo Uzuri in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Chacarita Juniors's Ermegildo Uzuri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narciso Eudoxio. Narciso Eudoxio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Elias Pirro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Telesforo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Vinicio Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Frederik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
