Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eustacio Frederik got the match started through his kick off. Andres Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Eudoxio having to interfere. After having played for 5 minutes, Ariel Cordairo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Cordairo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Pirro during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elias Pirro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Bandera's Arnaldo Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Frederik in the 12th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Ariel Cordairo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Narciso Eudoxio. The goal made the score 1-0. Eustacio Frederik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Frederik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Lidon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Ariel Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Tapebicuá's goalkeeper Narciso Eudoxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Sanchez. If Eustacio Frederik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Cesar Igon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Lidon. Bandera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar Igon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Cordairo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andres Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tapebicuá booed when Bandera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 61 in the game by Modesto Perutxo from a close distance when the talented Arnaldo Lidon managed to make a qualified save. Bandera's players were relieved. 63 minutes into the match, Tapebicuá's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Sanchez came free, but Narciso Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Modesto Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Frederik struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Arnaldo Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapebicuá. If Modesto Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Perutxo in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnaldo Lidon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Bandera's Arnaldo Lidon got control of the ball when Modesto Perutxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustacio Frederik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Lidon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Sanchez in the 82nd minute of play forced Tapebicuá's goalkeeper Narciso Eudoxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Frederik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Lidon having to interfere. Narciso Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Duarte in the 89th minute of play. Eustacio Frederik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bandera's zone, Modesto Perutxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Lidon came out of the goal and Modesto Perutxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Frederik, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
