The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Antucura Futbol Club booed when Piludo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rosendo Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leopoldo Mel took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Eudoxio. Celedonio Eudoxio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Constantino Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Segundo Osorio fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piludo F.C.'s protests and gave Segundo Osorio a yellow card for diving instead. Segundo Osorio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Celedonio Eudoxio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Arnau's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Erasmo Tab kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Piludo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Osorio. Grigoris Petrakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Orlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Erasmo Tab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Erasmo Tab dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celedonio Eudoxio, 3-0. Constantino Ted's late challenge caught a Piludo F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Ted helped the player get up and apologised. Constantino Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Piludo F.C.'s Lisandro Brais got a free kick in the 47th minute. If Constantino Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Oliverios to make the kick off. Leopoldo Mel kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Rosendo Arnau sped through Piludo F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celedonio Eudoxio. Constantino Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Eudoxio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Arnau went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, Piludo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Tab came free, but Celedonio Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Erasmo Tab notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Piludo F.C.'s Celedonio Eudoxio. Celedonio Eudoxio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Antucura Futbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Piludo F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
