Aldo Chano came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Despeñaderos's Arnaldo Ramirez. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arnaldo Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Aldo Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Chano having to interfere. Gregorio Calisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Cordairo in the 17th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Despeñaderos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, OrO VeRdE fC's Norberto Eguen got a free kick in the 26th minute. 34 minutes into the match, OrO VeRdE fC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Esquipula came free, but Aldo Chano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaston Urdaspal struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Aldo Chano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despeñaderos. Aldo Chano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Urdaspal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OrO VeRdE fC's Aldo Chano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Ramirez in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaston Urdaspal made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Denis Bidun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Despeñaderos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OrO VeRdE fC the free kick. The supporters of OrO VeRdE fC booed when Despeñaderos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Urdaspal in the 59th minute of the match. Arnaldo Ramirez in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aldo Chano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. OrO VeRdE fC's Aldo Chano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save OrO VeRdE fC from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Gaston Urdaspal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Ramirez took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Chano. Aldo Chano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Despeñaderos's Severo Ignado was substituted for Leonides Palos. Gaston Urdaspal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
