But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Aurre couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the EXCURSIO defense, Damaso Errolan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Dorio. The EXCURSIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Dorio should have stopped the shot. Ildefonso Nabar struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Rogelio Dorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Clud. Ildefonso Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rogelio Dorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Julio Lauren rounded Sporting Clud's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Lauren in the 22nd minute of play forced Sporting Clud's goalkeeper Zacarias Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Astigar made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Honorato Ostargi sent off a good shot on target. Julio Lauren was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. EXCURSIO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Honorato Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Ildefonso Nabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Ostargi scored 3-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Astigar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Ildefonso Nabar sped through EXCURSIO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rogelio Dorio. Omar Elizardo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Elizardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Omar Elizardo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Anacleto Aurre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Dorio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Lauren was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Clud's zone, Honorato Ostargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Astigar came out of the goal and Honorato Ostargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Julio Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Astigar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Lauren went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. EXCURSIO's Rogelio Dorio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save EXCURSIO from getting a goal against them. After 84 minutes, Igor Serapio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EXCURSIO and the Sporting Clud players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Igor Serapio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Aurre in the 88th minute of play forced EXCURSIO's goalkeeper Rogelio Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, EXCURSIO's Rogelio Dorio got control of the ball when Ildefonso Nabar tried to sneak it across the goal line.
