Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Maraman in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Salvadore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saturnino Chinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Salvadore having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Marlborough FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Maraman came free, but Danilo Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Amador Abancens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
