With a left leg Hamish McComas saved Club Atletico Lugano from getting behind. If Dobre Vata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Espinola Raiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gihón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Espinola Raiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamish McComas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 20 minutes, Espinola Raiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gihón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Espinola Raiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Lugano's zone, Espinola Raiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamish McComas came out of the goal and Espinola Raiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamish McComas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobre Vata in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Monte in the 25th minute of play forced Gihón FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Nofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes, Espinola Raiz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atletico Lugano's Hamish McComas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Atletico Lugano's Hamish McComas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Espinola Raiz in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Gihón FC got a corner. Club Atletico Lugano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hamish McComas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Espinola Raiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Oscar Florian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Lugano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gihón FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lugano's Oscar Florian got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Club Atletico Lugano getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Santi Rivera hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lugano's goal looked a bit too open when Espinola Raiz came free, but Hamish McComas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamish McComas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobre Vata in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Gihón FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Monte to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Gihón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Monte came free, but Lorenzo Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gihón FC's Espinola Raiz in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Lugano's goalie prevented a goal. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Venerando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hamish McComas was a little too slow when Espinola Raiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-2. A collision led to Gihón FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marciano Lando hit a great ball. With a little luck, Club Atletico Lugano's Hamish McComas got control of the ball when Espinola Raiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Espinola Raiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güney Dirayet during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atletico Lugano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute of the game, Gihón FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Dobre Vata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamish McComas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Espinola Raiz's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
