An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Pello in the 27th minute of play forced Boca s.a's goalkeeper Mariano Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca s.a's Mariano Menendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Montrell in the 32nd minute of play. Boca s.a's Mariano Menendo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Boca s.a from getting a goal against them. Severiano Louis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Ostadar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. If Severiano Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvador Gimenez was the one to do the kick off. Americo Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mariano Menendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Menendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Paz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Montrell in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Menendo saved Boca s.a from getting behind. Americo Gonchan charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Gonchan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, la polenta fC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. David Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Gotzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Louis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Leonides Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, la polenta fC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Severiano Louis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Severiano Louis might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Ostadar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Louis ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to la polenta fC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Octavio Paz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Rolando Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. la polenta fC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Gotzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Menendo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If David Montrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The la polenta fC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Boca s.a to win.
