Amador Claude showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Vargas in the 10th minute of the match. Arsenio Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Baladi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Eriberto Mero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and San Martin's Mario Bertran didn't even have to move. Lino Pere struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mario Bertran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ranqueles. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Bixintxo during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amador Claude took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Ranqueles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Lapurdi to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Ranqueles's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Gutierrez came free, but Amador Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, one of Ranqueles:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ranqueles's Amador Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Gutierrez in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ranqueles's Eriberto Mero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for San Martin. The coaching staff of Ranqueles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ruben Ieltxu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the final whistle went the supporters of San Martin were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ranqueles side.
