In the 10th minute, Ivan Goi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Francis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute of the match, Hermengildo Delfino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Librado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The goalkeeper, Gustavo Librado, was totally fooled by Talleres's Victorino Bernaldo, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Ivan Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Librado having to interfere. Ivan Goi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tiburcio Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Delfino to strike the kick off in the second half. Talleres's Hermengildo Delfino got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermengildo Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Librado having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Hermengildo Delfino made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Guzmán's Gustavo Librado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Goi got free with Tiburcio Francis in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ivan Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guzmán's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Goi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Francis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Talleres's goalkeeper Tiburcio Francis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Goi. If Ivan Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Llorenc in the 81st minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Tiburcio Francis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Delfino in the 82nd minute of play forced Guzmán's goalkeeper Gustavo Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Goi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
