The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Campito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Austral FC the free kick. Aldo Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Etor having to interfere. Reynaldo Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Campito FC's Teo Millano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Rubio in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Campito FC's Aldo Frantzes got a free kick in the 25th minute. Reynaldo Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcial Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Millano having to interfere. Teo Millano made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Marcial Ipar sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Feliberto Orixe made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Etor. Austral FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Teo Millano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Reynaldo Rubio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldo Frantzes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ricardo Etor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Teo Millano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Ipar in the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Austral FC's Ricardo Etor got control of the ball when Feliberto Orixe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Campito FC's Teo Millano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Dodorol in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Austral FC's Eusebio Dodorol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo Millano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 61 minutes, Reynaldo Rubio made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Campito FC's Teo Millano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Reynaldo Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austral FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Millano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reynaldo Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Austral FC made a substitution. Cornelio Patrido replaced Ramiro Lico. Teo Millano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Ipar in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Campito FC's goalkeeper Teo Millano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Austral FC's Eusebio Dodorol got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Reynaldo Rubio put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Teo Millano. Eusebio Dodorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Millano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Rubio in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Austral FC were the better team. Austral FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
